"Absorption chiller for district cooling, No.1 Seller World Energy Co.,Ltd"
According to Korea HVAC magazine “KHARN” (Korea Heating, Air-conditioning, Refrigeration & Renewable energy News), World Energy Co.,Ltd was the No.1 seller in the field of absorption chiller supplying for district cooling in 2019.
Not only for supplying, World Energy got also a contract for the largest scale field.
The Korea Energy Agency executed USD 2.6 million (KRW 3,180,400,000) for district cooling subsidy in 2019, supported 96 mid-temperature hot water driven absorption chiller (2ABS), as 29,183 RT cooling capacity.
The installation support fund was USD 2.3 million (KRW 2,900,036,000), design subsidy was USD 230,000 (KRW 280,040,000)
According to the performance result from each company, World Energy was the best seller as 21 units (7,091 RT), World ENC followed behind of World Energy as 20 units (6,709 RT). LG Electronics was counted 15 units (3,876 RT), Samjung Tech was 14 units (4,587 RT) and Century was 14 units (4,270 RT). LG Electronics was counted more units but total cooling capacity was lower than Samjung Tech and Century. Kiturami Bumyang was sold 12 units (2,650 RT).
The biggest cooling capacity site is Chungra square 7 in Incheon, World Energy received the orders and installed total 3,335 RT cooling capacity like △3 units 627 RT, △2 units 273 RT, △2 units 268 RT, △2 units 186 RT.
