Gyeongsangbuk-do selected eight local SMEs that achieved excellent results such as management innovation and technology developmentand awarded the '2020 Gyeongsangbuk-do Small and Medium-sized Business Award'. The 'Small and Medium Business Awards Review Committee' finally selected 8 companies through document review and on-site actual survey.
Among the eight selected companies, World Energy Co., Ltd. (CEO Ryu Jin-sang) won the comprehensive Grand Prix.
The 'Gyeongsangbuk-do Small and Medium Business Award' is given to an excellent small and medium-sized enterprise leading the local economy despite difficult conditions. It was implemented for the first time in Korea in 1993 and since 1997, this prestigious and honorable award has been given to companies under the co-host of Maeil Newspaper.
World Energy Co., Ltd., which won the Comprehensive Grand Maeil, has pioneered the overseas thermal power plant facility market as well as the local chiller market through technology development and export of its main products, absorption chiller & heater.
