World Energy Co., LTD(CEO Ryu Jin-sang) reported its successful exportation of three industrial ‘Heat Pumps’(HPs) to Lithuania, a member state of the EU, in the first half of 2021.
Compared to other HPs, ‘Absorption HPs’ can reduce energy consumption while generating the same amount of heat because it retrieves heat from a low-temperature heat source that gets thrown away.
World Energy exported three Absorption HPs throughout Lithuania: △HPL470HH(1,200kW) to Klaipeda, △HPL900HH(2,400kW) to Kaunas, △HPS045HH(1,500kW) to Panevėžys. Total waste heat retrieved amounts to 5.1MW.
“Industrial HPs supplied to Europe are mainly from India and China, and that World Energy cooperated closely with a local system engineering company to reinforce product competitiveness,” said a source from the World Energy. The source indicated that World Energy managed to win the contract from its record of supplying 12MW Absorption HPs to Kumho Petrochemical Co., LTD.
“Starting from this exportation, we are looking forward to winning contracts continuously because the government of Lithuania is enthusiastically promoting the modernization of district heating facilities and improvement of energy efficiency,” the source added.
We will try to do the best. Thank you.
