World Energy CEO Ryu Jin-sang received the presidential award for his effort in the latest Innovative Technology Show. He was credited with increase of employment, electricity peak decrease, High-Efficiency Low-Temperature Water Absorption Chiller development and export expansion.
CEO Ryu Jin-sang said “We have been experienced electricity shortage caused by high electricity peak in summer season, emphasized the importance of saving electricity and the Cooling System for replacement of electricity is now far too competitive.” He said again “I would like to contribute to supply continuous district heating with getting competitive district cooling and solving electricity peak by developing High-Efficiency Low-Temperature Hot Water Absorption Chiller for district heating.
CEO Ryu Jin-sang explained development background that people need to feel an lower effect of utility rates through supplying high-efficiency product development than reduction of hot water rate for district heating. Through efficiency improvement we have developed High-Efficiency Low-Temperature Hot Water Absorption Chiller which is reduced area of installation and size of cooling tower for our customer’s convenience.
The absorption chiller which using various heat source has been exported a chemical plant and food factory in Europe and Taiwan. And we are expecting to increase in export with higher efficiency, stronger cooling and more competitive this absorption chiller.
World Energy has developed not only High-Efficiency Single Effect Double Lift Low-Temperature Hot Water Absorption Chiller, Waste Heat Recovery Absorption Chiller and High-Efficiency Double Effect Exhaust Gas Absorption Chiller its own but also Absorption Chiller for Maritime Ship cooperated with Sam Jung Heavy Industries and increased domestic and oversea sales. The company won the IR (Industrial Research) 52 Jang Yeong-sil Award for Absorption Chiller for Maritime Ship which was registered patent in Korea and Japan last March.
